EARLY LIFE

Adanma Juliet Luke Ozuligbo was born on 11 June 1990 in Ekwulumili, Anambra State, Nigeria. She is the first daughter of her parents (Mr. and Mrs. Luke) and grew up in the Nnewi area of Anambra State. She completed her primary and secondary education in Nnewi/Anambra State before proceeding to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where she obtained a degree in Cooperative Economics

CAREER

Adanma Luke entered the Nollywood industry around 2012. She works as both an actress and a producer/director. She gained notable recognition through productions including True Beauty. She has appeared in or produced numerous films, including titles such as Senators Demand, Narrow Affection, The Last Torment, Love Catel, My Sister’s Sweat, Crazy Neighbours, Divorce Not Allowed, Family Pride, Evil Best Friends, Deceptive Maidens, Family Commotion, Without a Son, Secret of Trophy Wives, Iga (Love in Chain) (2020), School Trouble (2014, as Boma), Sin of a Woman (as Marobi), Official Deceit (2023), Anambra Boys (2018), Chibundu (2014), Cry of a Witch series, My Diva, and others. She has shared the screen with actors including Yul Edochie, Ngozi Ezeonu, Mercy Johnson, Eve Esin, Ruth Kadiri, Uju Okoli, and others. She is known for dramatic and romantic roles and has expanded into production and property investment tied to the film industry in Asaba.

PERSONAL LIFE

Adanma Luke keeps her romantic and family life largely private. She has not disclosed details of any ongoing relationship. She is a Christian. In 2020 she purchased a mansion in Asaba, Delta State, which she has indicated could serve as a filming location. In 2024–2025 she publicly addressed the emotional impact of a tragic boat accident that occurred during production of her film The Other Side of Life. The incident claimed the lives of actor Junior Pope (John Odonwodo) and four others (named in tributes as Friday, Abigail, Olanti, and Precious). She has spoken about struggling with depression, regret, and public criticism in the aftermath, issued public apologies, and paid tributes while noting she continues to support the affected families. She has also experienced the loss of a sister to cancer.
