EARLY LIFE
Abraham Nwodo was born on 5th February in Enugu State. He attended and graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) with a degree in Political Science. He has maintained a relatively private personal profile throughout his career.
CAREER
Abraham Nwodo joined Nollywood around the year 2000 and has built a long career appearing in numerous films, often in supporting or character roles. He is well-known for “meek” and moral roles, such as kind husbands or religious figures. Notable credits include, Royal Reward (2008), Throne of Mercy (2022), Tears of the Dead (2014), Bachelor’s Heart, Wisdom of Thomas, Jealous Husband, African Soldier, A Fool at 40, Princess Adaora and other classics like Wicked Ambition and various family dramas. He has transitioned into filmmaking and production in later years while continuing to act. His work spans traditional straight-to-video Nollywood films and covers themes of family, relationships, betrayal, and morality.
