Abdulrahman Muhammad, popularly known as Abdul Amart Mai Kwashewa, loved watching Hausa movies and reading novels since he was a teenager. He started his Kannywood journey by selling video cassettes at bus stops and was introduced to filmmakers by Hajiya Aisha Amart, who he considers his godmother in Kannywood.

Abdul Amart is a prominent Kannywood producer and Chief Executive Officer of Abnur Entertainment, which he established with musician Nura M. Inuwa. He has produced about 11 movies, including 'Aisha Humaira,' 'Mai Tafiya,' 'Ummi,' 'Basma,' 'Mijin Biza,' 'Salma,' and 'Abbana'. He is also a writer, known for 'Nadeeya' (2022).
PERSONAL LIFE
Abdul Amart has been involved in politics, inheriting this interest from his grandfather, Alhaji Abubakar Dzukoji, who was a prominent politician during NEPU. He vigorously campaigned for President Buhari in 2015 and 2019, sponsoring the popular song 'Lema Ta Yage' for his 2015 campaign.
