When Feelings Cross

The story in When Feelings Cross begins with Alicia and Essien on a romantic yacht date in Lagos. Essien acts like a rich businessman with resort investments. He buys her a luxurious house and new car for their perfect life. When sister Emily and mother visit to celebrate the wedding, Alicia shows Essien's photo. Emily is shocked as she recognizes him as Etim, the vulcanizer from Calabar who conned her out of savings four years ago and vanished. Alicia denies it and they argue. Mother suggests checking a birthmark Emily remembers. Flashback shows Emily giving Etim money for business before he disappeared. Essien panics and hires a private investigator. Emily and mother go to Calabar, find the real Etim working as vulcanizer. He explains he had a bad accident and coma in hospital, money stolen while unconscious. The twist: he has identical twin Essien who stole the money for luxury life. They return to Lagos, confront at Alicia's house. Twins face off, truth out. Etim proposes to Emily on spot, she accepts. Alicia forgives Essien despite lies. They marry and celebrate happily on yacht, showing love wins over deception.
