Two Stubborn Hearts

A romantic proposal goes wrong in the movie called Two Stubborn Hearts. Ramsey proposes to his girlfriend Rita at a restaurant with friends watching. Rita is not happy because Ramsey is standing and not kneeling. She wants him to kneel for respect. Ramsey says love is not about that. Rita walks out and he is humiliated. The waiter, who is Rita's friend in disguise, brings a plate that says Marry Me? Ramsey has a ring. But he is still standing. Rita demands he kneel. He refuses. They argue about ego versus respect and she leaves again. Rita's proposal rejection goes viral on social media. People call her ungrateful. Her friend says her pride is ruining the relationship. Her mother shares her past where her husband did not kneel and became abusive. She advises Rita not to let ego destroy her happiness. Ramsey tries to move on with colleague Dinma but he is not happy. Rita meets wealthy Kola Adeyemi who pursues her. Ramsey sees them and they have a bitter fight. Rita says she has moved on. Both are miserable. Rita's mother sets them up at her house. They bicker at first but confront their feelings. Ramsey then prepares a romantic setting with red carpet, rose petals, and neon sign. He invites Rita.
