Once Upon A Vow

The story follows Henry and Janet, who meet by accident at a supermarket and quickly fall into a serious relationship. During wedding preparations, wedding planner Edna coaches them for a reception video, but tensions grow as Henry refuses to discuss his past or family. On their wedding day, with Pastor officiating, Henry is asked for his vows—and he shockingly rejects Janet, causing a public scandal. Later, Henry breaks down at home, revealing his rejection was a calculated act of vengeance for past traumas he feels were inflicted on him. Flashbacks show a previous strained relationship involving Janet and another student, highlighting cycles of betrayal. After the fallout, Henry, haunted by regret, meets Janet again at a pharmacy. They share a tentative moment, leading to an awkward but hopeful invitation to lunch. Meanwhile, a supporting character named Rita finds wisdom from Amanda, who encourages her to move past old heartaches. Encouraged by peers Kenneth and Leo, Rita chooses a new beginning.
