Let's Make A Deal

In Let's Make a Deal, Deborah returns from a trip and Cedric greets her warmly. A woman named Linda is briefly visible on the stairs before disappearing. Under the living-room couch, Deborah finds a red thong and confronts Cedric. He says he bought it as a gift, produces a bag of lingerie, and she apologizes for doubting him. That night he is in bed with Linda, laughing about the near miss and planning to use the house while Deborah is away. When Deborah leaves for eight hours, Cedric invites Linda over and they play out a plumber roleplay. Linda's friend Laura warns her not to go into another woman's matrimonial bedroom, but Linda ignores her. The affair starts to crack at a hair salon, where Deborah confronts Linda, chases her to her car, and shouts that she knows Linda is the plumber. Linda escapes home, but Deborah forces her way in. Instead of attacking her, Deborah makes a surprising offer: teach me to be the kind of woman my husband is drawn to. They form an uneasy deal. Linda coaches Deborah in seduction, and Deborah teaches Linda how to be a good wife. Linda opens up about a painful job interview in which a father-figure uncle tried to take advantage of her, and Debbie sees her in a new light. Linda starts seeing a new man, then discovers he is already engaged to someone named Chi Chi. Devastated, she breaks down. Debbie, who has felt the same pain, comforts her and says she forgives her. Linda apologizes for sleeping with Debbie's husband, and the two reconcile as Linda gives her life to Christ. Back home, Cedric kneels and asks Debbie to marry him again, promising to make things right. She accepts, and the marriage is restored. In voiceover, Debbie says she forgave Linda because God is love, and her husband has changed for good.
