Storyline
Zara packs her Lagos apartment with twenty-nine days until a promotion moves her to Abuja. Timi appears to buy a vintage chair she listed, but she refuses to sell and they spend the afternoon arguing over music and family stories. He returns a vinyl record she accidentally packed, admitting he came back only to see her. They cook together, shape clay at a pottery wheel, eat suya in the rain, and watch the sunrise from her balcony. Preye, Zara's colleague and Timi's sister, discovers their boss Adeyemi falsified completion reports for the Abuja facility, paying contractors for work barely started. She records his confession and takes it to the managing director, but Timi learns of the fraud first and agrees to wait until morning for Preye to secure the original files. Zara celebrates her promotion unaware, then confronts Adeyemi demanding an independent audit before she signs the handover, but he threatens to destroy her career. Preye enters a board meeting and exposes the fraud and their secret relationship, forcing Adeyemi's suspension and pausing Zara's transfer pending a true audit. Devastated that Timi knew about the falsified reports and let her celebrate a compromised promotion, Zara shuts him out. He waits outside her door and slides a note under it, but she refuses to open up. Days later she reads the note, a tender list of shared moments and future plans: visit her in Abuja, learn the flight schedule, start another list. She realizes the depth of his feelings and her own overreaction, acknowledging she punished him for more than his mistake. She finds him at a construction site where they have a raw conversation about trust, fear, and her past with an ex who made life decisions for her. They reconcile, admit they missed each other, and Timi confirms he has a color-coded spreadsheet for commuting between the cities.
