Face Of Love

The story in the movie Face of Love begins when Dozie returns to his rural village after NYSC. His friends welcome him. He reunites with his girlfriend Mma who just got university admission. They celebrate at a local lounge with friends enjoying drinks fish and dancing. Dozie sees the 700,000 Naira fees and has only 240,000 but promises to pay it all. He sells his television generator and air conditioner to raise the money and gives it to Mma. She is touched and leaves for school with a new phone and cash from him after a tearful goodbye. Two years later Dozie is poor and worn out while Mma stops all contact. When Mma returns she is dressed expensively and acts cold to Dozie. It is revealed that she had an affair with a wealthy married man and was beaten by his wife in public. Mma admits she wants the rich city life and breaks up with Dozie saying he is too poor. Dozie is shattered but then he plans a big agricultural business and applies for a grant. He gets 20 million Naira and starts Dozievinchi Farms. He becomes wealthy with Akunne's help who supported him always. Mma comes back regretting her actions when she hears of his success. She begs for forgiveness and a second chance. Dozie rejects her reminding her of his past sacrifices and her betrayal. He chooses Akunne who was there for him and declares his love for her. The movie ends with Dozie and Akunne in a happy embrace as Mma faces the results of her greed.
