Shola Cole Ajayi is an ambitious political aspirant leading a campaign for the Nile City House of Assembly in Bariga. To bolster his influence, he enters a strategic engagement with Veronica, daughter of the powerful Senator Ambrose. During his campaign, focusing on community outreach in tough areas like Kanyeru, Shola encounters Star, a gym manager and personal trainer from his university days. The chemistry between them is immediate and deep, despite his engagement. As Shola's relationship with Star intensifies, Veronica becomes jealous and publicly insults him at a campaign event. Senator Ambrose threatens to destroy Shola's career if he breaks his word, and Shola's mother also disapproves. In a dramatic confrontation, Shola rejects the senator's demands, choosing personal integrity and love for Star over political advancement. With support from his associate Uche, Shola continues his grassroots campaign and wins the election. The film ends with Shola and Star sharing a lighthearted moment at the gym, their love undamaged.
