Biography

EARLY LIFE

Shan George was born on 21 April 1970 in Ediba, a town in Abi local government area of Cross River State, Nigeria to an Igbo mother and a British father. Her first marriage was at age 16. She attended Edanafa Secondary Commercial School, Ediba, Cross River State. She is an alumnus of the University of Lagos where she studied Mass Communication and produced her debut movie All For Winnie during her final year.

CAREER

Shan George is a Nigerian Nollywood actress, singer, filmmaker and director. Prior to debuting in the movie Thorns of Rose, she featured in a 1997 soap opera titled Winds of Destiny. She is best known for her roles in Outkast and Welcome to Nollywood. In 2010, she released her debut studio album titled Dance. She is the Founder/CEO of Divine Shield Film Academy in Calabar, Nigeria.
