Chinwe Isaac

A hilarious Nollywood Nigeria actress, enterpreneur, and filmmaker, from Imo State, her full name is Chinwekele Udokporo but known as Chinwe Isaac, born on September 5, Chinwe Isaac studied political science from the university of of Lagos, she also has a diploma in music from the Nsukka university, she had worked with many notable actors and actresses in the film industry, her career began when she featured in her first movie " one last feeling" released in 2008, she has won awards like best actress of the year in Igbo and best Igbo comedy actress of the year

EARLY LIFE

Chinwe Isaac was born in Owerri, Imo State. She celebrates her birthday on 5 September. She earned a national diploma in music from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and later studied political science at Lagos State University (LASU) part-time while acting.

CAREER

Isaac's acting career began in 2008, gaining prominence after being featured in the Nollywood movie 'One Last Feeling'. Her role in 'Isioma Scotland' further elevated her recognition, earning her the 'Face of Igbo Movie of the Year' award. Her passion for acting started in childhood, performing major roles in school dramas, and her parents, who were church drama actors, were very supportive. In 2012, Vanguard listed her among the top five Nollywood actresses to watch. She once announced her intention to quit acting to focus on building a happy marital home but later continued featuring in movies, becoming an A-list actress three years into her career. She registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in Imo State before moving to Lagos for her studies.

PERSONAL LIFE

Chinwe Isaac took a break from acting to get married. She met her husband, Laclass Ozuogwu, an Enugu-based producer, at the Actors Guild of Nigeria office in Surulere.
